When Arise Bakery owner Reah Roberts started baking out of personal need, she never expected that her bread and baked goods would evolve into the significant demands she has today! Reah started baking her loaves before most people knew about anything gluten-free, but she had orders. Lots of orders so she started selling at local farmers markets in Arcata, Humboldt County California, and through her local CSA.

Ten years later her baking company is taking online orders and shipping nationwide on a weekly basis. They produce 200 loaves of bread along with a variety of baked goods each day. All of her ingredients are organic, and the bakery will be soon be getting its certification.

Reah enjoys learning about and trying new foods. She wants people to realize that just because we can't have gluten, we shouldn't miss out on all the other amazing foods we can have!
