The Best Grass-Fed Beef Burger

This turned out to be the Best Grass-fed Burger, ever! It's made with grated onion, Pork Panko from Bacon’s Heir and So Delicious dairy-free Mozzarella Shreds. The results are a winning burger that's soft, juicy, and FLAVOR-loaded! I guarantee that if you make these burgers at your next get-together, your family and guests will be outright impressed! If you want to take it to the next level, then be sure to add gluten-free buns!  

I decided to go with freshly made potato salad rather than potato chips or french fries, and also added a side salad of arugula drizzled with a honey mustard dressing. It's a very simple, old family recipe that adds chopped black olives, cornichon pickles, capers, celery, and red onion to boiled potatoes. 

  • This recipe will make six to eight burgers
  • Cook time is 10 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound of grass-fed beef
  • 1 small red onion, grated on the cheese grater (use the side you would grate a carrot on)
  • 1/3 cup of pork panko
  • 1/3 cup of dairy-free cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • sea salt and black pepper if desired

 

How To

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Use your clean hands to mix and combine ingredients, and then shape into 6 to 8 patties. 
  2. In a large skillet, warm up 1 teaspoon of oil and swirl to coat surface.  Arrange four burgers in the skillet. Cover the skillet with a lid. Cook for 4 minutes on each side. Repeat the previous steps with the remaining beef patties.
